1. What is the IEEE Member Digital Library?

The IEEE Member Digital Library brings IEEE members instant online access to the full text of all IEEE journals, magazines, transactions, letters, and conference papers. You can file, view, and print up to 25 articles each month in your electronic file cabinet.

2. Who can subscribe?

The IEEE Member Digital Library is available exclusively to IEEE members.

3. How do I subscribe?

You can subscribe when you JOIN IEEE, renew your IEEE membership or add services throughout the year.

4. How do I pay for my subscription?

Your credit card will be billed $35 monthly. A minimum 6-month commitment is required.

5. What do I need to access my subscription?

You will need an IEEE Web Account to access the IEEE Member Digital Library. If you do not have a Web Account, go to http://www.ieee.org/web/accounts/.

Before you sign up, be sure to have the following information ready:

  • Your IEEE member number
  • A unique username, password and a valid email address
  • Personal security identifiers to help you remember your password in case you forget it. You will receive an email message confirming that your Web Account has been established.

6. How do I access my file cabinet?

If you are not logged in, select Login at the top of any IEEE Xplore page and enter your IEEE Web Account username and password. Once you are successfully logged in, the IEEE Member Digital Library link will appear on the navigation bar. Select File Cabinet to access your documents.

7. How do I update my credit card number or expiration date?

Go to the Manage Your Profile page to change your credit card information.

8. Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, but only after you have satisfied your minimum 6-month commitment.

9. Who do I contact for technical assistance?

First, select the context-sensitive Help and other online resources. If you need additional assistance, complete the online Technical Support Form to contact IEEE Member Services.
